Welcome back! Bienvenue! Willkommen

Dear Students,

I am pleased to welcome you to a new school year. This year will be full of learning and other opportunities for you to grow academically as well as socially.

As a Foreign Language teacher, I would like to invite each and everyone of you to think globally as we act locally. We are leaving the age of work for the age of mind. In this era of technological progress, the whole world has become like a global village where all persons can interact. English is an important language. But we need Foreign languages to be able to interact with as many persons as possible.

Learning a new language goes beyond simply being able to say words in a different language. It comes with a cultural awareness and unlimited opportunities to look at our world from multiple perspectives. Being tolerant is more than words. It is a change in one’s way of thinking and dealing with others.

That’s why I am welcoming all of you on board of the Foreign Language boat. It will not be easy. But, with a cooperative attitude and a willingness to learn we will get there.

Sincerely,

Tomfei Teou Teou, MA

French and German Teacher
